We are looking for a talented colleague for the Compliance Department. The appropriate candidates should have the below qualifications: 

  • Fluency in English,
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the respective area and/or different areas Compliance, Tax, Auditing, internal controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Management Engineering, Finance or relevant field. Strong Computer skills especially MS Office programs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with flexibility to adapt to a changing business environment

Supports the Compliance Manager EMEA and the Compliance Office in general in tasks related to the training of employees & business partners of Zimmer Biomet, interpretation of local medical device regulations and Medtech Industry Assc. Code of Ethics and assessment of contractual relationships, educational grants and other interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) as well as in the related tracking/monitoring in Middle East and Turkey. The position also involves exposure to highly sensitive information such as contracts with HCPs and requires the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. It also requires considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. 

  • Support of Compliance Manager for all types of compliance training given in line with Zimmer Biomet Corporate Compliance Program and Support of the Compliance Manager in the organization of internal/external training and meetings (incl. drafting of presentation and training material, travel logistics, etc.) 
  • Supporting implementation, maintenance and continuous enhancement of different Compliance processes, policies, and guidelines in the EMEA region and specifically in Turkey & Middle East. 
  • Interpretation of Local & Regional Country Regulations & Medtech Associations Ethics Code and providing memos to local country management of ZB Turkey & Middle East & provide relevant training on this behalf in case it is requested. 
  • Support of the Compliance Manager in managing remediation of Compliance Audits & Investigations and initiating appropriate corrective & preventive actions for Compliance policies violations or other process deviations; supporting the Compliance Manager in related activities incl. follow-ups with involved Team Members and tracking. 
  • Support of the Compliance Manager in the handling and prioritization of questions/requests related to the Compliance policies and procedures 
  • Support of the Compliance Manager on the arrangement of Committees 
  • Conducting procedural training and system training under the supervision of the Compliance Manager. 
  • Conducting background checks on HCPs, institutions, business partners and affiliates. 
  • Monitoring/tracking HCP interactions through systems and through reports submitted by email to Compliance. 
  • Record keeping and filing of Compliance documentation with regard to all kind of Compliance activities including training.
