We are looking for a "Electrical Engineer" for our growing team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Minimum 2-3 years` experience, preferably in power plant projects, including thermal and renewable power plant projects,
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Codes and other regulatory codes,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PVsyst and other common electrical analysis program,
• Knowledge of electrical systems such as HV Switchyard, Transformers, MV-LV Switchgear, VFDs, Inverters, DC-UPS Systems, SCADA Systems etc.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills,
• Self-disciplined and result-oriented,
• Fluent in English,
• Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary,
• Excellence in MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).

Job Description

• Carry out the electrical design works,
• Prepare technical specifications of electrical equipment’s and electrical works,
• Prepare solar power plant layouts,
• Produce preliminary engineering documents and related material for estimating purposes,
• Prepare electrical drawings including single line diagrams, cable schedules, lighting, earthing drawings and equipment installation details etc.
• Perform electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, cable sizing and relay coordination etc.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities and draft the scope of works,
• Prepare bid packages of electrical equipment and materials,
• Evaluate bids of electrical equipment,
• Create project budget based upon quotes and bids; track project costs,
• Create and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, suppliers and subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics,
• Manage relationships with various equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering firms,
• Review and comment vendor drawings and shop drawings,
• Support preparation of project budget based upon quotes and bids; track project costs,
• Support development of project timeline, identification of critical path and key milestones for project’s success,
• Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact,
• Maintaining records and databases,
• Conduct site visit and assessments to support preliminary design and site selection efforts, including constructability reviews,
• Provide technical support at site during projects construction phase whenever necessary,
• Communicate technical aspects of a project with other disciplines in the department.
