Lawyer (Intellectual Property Law)

We are looking for a “Lawyer” to join our Zorlu Holding Legal Affairs team in Manisa and responsible for the coordination of all legal activities of Vestel Group companies. 

 Job Description:

• To follow up, coordinate and manage all litigation, dispute resolutions, and settlement negotiations directly or with outside counsel/law firms,

• To review and evaluate agreements regarding intellectual property in particular license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.. at an international level and to join the contract negotiations,

 • To provide consultancy for variety of commercial issues that might bear legal consequences, assess legal risks, address issues mainly related to technology law,

• To follow up the new laws, regulations related to company’s major activities and to submit legal consultancy to the directors, managers and the other personnel in order to implement laws, regulations and by-laws. 

Qualifications: 

 • Bachelor’s degree in Law from reputable Universities, Admitted to bar in Turkey, LLM is preferable,

• A minimum of 4 years of legal experience at a leading global law firm and/or in-house at a major multinational corporation,

• Legal experience counseling technology law, contract law including intellectual property matters is an asset,

• Commercially-minded business advisor and legal strategist with appropriate risk calibration for a multinational business,

• Demonstrated ability to meet business and organizational goals,

 • Adapt with innovative technical applications in the field of consumer electronics,

 • Follow the latest innovations and trends in his/her practice areas,

 • Military service completion is a must for male candidates,

 • Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills in English,

 • Ability to negotiate critical business-critical issues,

 • Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment,

 • Excellent command of MS Office application, 

• Strong follow-up on multi tasks, 

• Proactive, teamwork oriented, 

• No travel restrictions, 

• Residency in İzmir or Manisa.
