We Are looking for a talented UI/UX designer who will be very comfortable to be named as a design freak to join our fast growing team at a financial technologies start-up in Istanbul

Responsibilities 

· Partner with the teams in a collaborative design process 

· Design thinking studies with the workforce 

· Generate actionable insights that both explore potential new design opportunities and evaluate existing experiences 

· Orchestrate insights, communicate results, and illustrate recommendations in fascinating ways and/or design deliverables that significantly improve the use of technologies 

· Be a user/customer advocate, driving user/customer needs and goals into both creative and pragmatic design solutions 

· Prototyping and visual development with user-centric design principles by convincing software developers 

· Improvement of the overall UI & UX design within the firm 

· Conducting tests with different UI cases and applying the outcomes in comprehensive UX scenarios 

· Advisory for the development of product web pages and other public domains with modern, design centric principles 

Qualifications 

· 3+ years of applied experience in a relevant field 

· Experience with modern UI & UX prototyping tools 

· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web page development 

· Experience in working with Bootstrap (or equivalent) 

· Experience in work/collaboration within a front-end development environment 

· Experience in usability best practices and marketing basics 

· Experience with Design Thinking methodology is a plus 

· Strong Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator skills 

· Ability to respond quickly to design requests 

· Assuring the compatibility with brand 

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 

· French is a plus 

Requirements for Interview 

During interview, the candidate will be asked; 

· Specific portfolio with your UI/UX design and any art works, stating all your contributions to the works. 

· A sample logo design on any “word” chosen by candidate. Candidate will be asked about the mindset behind the design.
