Road Load Data Acquisiton- Field Tests Engineer

General Responsibility : Plan, execute & manage Road Load Data Acquisition studies to support program analytical gateways/issue resolutions.
Manage total instrumentation phase & executes data acquisition as well as the coordination within the working environment in support of T&Ds and test methods for all PD programs.     
Discuss the instrumentation locations, sensors and test method with the test requestor
Plans the instrumentation, workshop support, execution processes & durations
Ensures vehicle is prepared according to intended test specs. (i.e upperbody, loadings, sign offs)
Determines the cost items and gives feedback to PAT/Program teams
Ensures the instrumentation is done as requested, collects sample data to check sensors and data acquisition device is working properly
Responsible from the execution of correct RLDA test maneouvre and data reliability (Data without anomalies)
Supports fundamental data analysis and derive results for test report
Tracks equipments maintenance & calibrations periodically
Investigate new test opportunities, technologies and methods towards data acquisition and prepare investment feasibility/launch
Supports RLDA technician development plan by trainings
Runs RLDA workstream by cost center business model
Supports HCV unique Requirements and DNA development

•Should be able to travel frequently, no restrictions to travel abroad •Should act multitasking and think multidimensional •To be dedicated to develop professional skills of individuals •Result oriented • Recognized as a valuable team member• Fundamental knowledge on strain-stress theory & engineering mechanics • Previous experience on data acquisition systems (LMS, Somat nCdode etc.) & sensors (strain gage, accelerometer, displacement transducers etc.) is a major asset, yet not a must• Knowledge of problem solving methods  • Fundamental knowledge of GPDS •Experience in particularly UNV phases in PD department is an asset • Understanding customer correlation fundamentals & statistics
