İpaş İplik San. ve İhr. A.Ş. (Ipas), is a leading manufacturer and exporter of women's apparel in Turkey.

Founded in 1961, Ipas has been exporting garments to the EU countries and USA since 1975. Apart from the garment manufacturing, Ipas is also active in dyestuff and rubber thread production, garment-dyeing, and fabric weaving.

In the last 5 years, Ipas has also invested in construction and service industries and running very successful businesses in these areas.

Ipas was founded in 1961 by three partners -who still continue this rare successful partnership- and has been operating in the ready-to-wear, dyestuff, and rubber thread industries since. For the last 25 years, the company has been exporting original collections to various countries of European Community, such as Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, France, and USA. Having 17 plants (more than 30.000 sqm of covered workplace) all over Turkey, Ipas is accomplishing an annual turnover of more than DM 170 million.

Ipas is a preferred supplier of mail-order catalogues and chain stores such as Otto, Quelle, Neckermann and Wal-Mart, C&A, Hertie, Karstadt respectively. Giving service to its very first customers for more than 20 years now, Ipas has reached an export of amount of more than 8 million pieces in the year 2000 with more than 1.600 employees.

Moreover, Ipas is running a very successful service business with Service Master of USA and is the exclusive distributor of DYSTAR (a joint venture of Hoechst, Bayer and BASF) of Germany's products in Turkey.
