Position Summary 

We are looking for a Project Manager with proven experience in the life science and the pharmaceutical industry. As a project manager,  you will be responsible for ensuring allocated projects are tracked, managed, and implemented effectively, to the required specification and within budget. Demonstrating excellent leadership and teamwork is essential to ensure project management methodology is followed and all relevant parties are updated on project progress regularly. A key aspect of the role is effective communication across internal and external boundaries without exception, ensuring clarity on workload management, scope, deliverables, activities, and timescales. Formal project management methodologies are to be utilized as per the advanco standards.

Responsibilities

• Agree and oversee with the customers the scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria for projects
• Accountable for ensuring the right level of resource available for projects which require support through load balancing between resources
• Ensure all documentation required for the projects scale are created, revised and communicated
• Ensure effective and timely communication between members of project team internal and external by use of formal communications and reporting strategy adherence
• Accountable for ensuring all required Project Management documentation in line with expectations
• Through effective leadership, drive excellence in Project Management by working with either advanco Project Management Methodology or recognized practice
• Principal point of contact for project team members during project phases as defined by the overall project management methodology
• Accountable for ensuring a framework is in place which delivers timely and accurate reporting on project milestones as directed by management requirements
• Accountable for ensuring risk assessments are carried out in a timely manner
• Responsible for escalating where necessary and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure departmental targets are achieved
• Accountable for ensuring a framework is in place which identifies issues, risk and change control management and communication

Qualifications / Positions Requirements

• Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Life Science, or related degree preferred
• Experience in project management: +3 years (Required)
• Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical and medical devices industry is a must
• Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment that values speed
• Experience implementing business solutions in a GxP environment
• Understanding of compliance and computer systems validation requirements SaaS/Cloud delivery experience
• Experience in Pre-Sales presentations and demonstrations
• Well organized with effective time and activity management skills, goal oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to 20-30%
