Senior Merchandiser

AKBASLAR TEKSTIL  which is established in 1962 , continues to work as a production partner of  world  Brands  in Bursa . We are looking for "Senior Merchandiser" colleagues  ,new experienced teammates to grow and strengthen our team.

If you have the following features, we welcome you to become a member of our team:

• University graduate  (preferably in textile engineering )
• At least 5 years of experience in woven clothing products and preferably has experience in men’s clothing as well 
• Fluent in both written and spoken English  
• To have no obstacles to travel
• Advanced user of MS Ofice applications & SAP  ERP  software .
• Able to work  result –oriented ,self –motivated ,repsonsive and detail minded .
• Compatible with teamwork ,ability to built strong relationships with team and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Residing / able to reside in Istanbul or Bursa.                                   

When you join this team, we will ask you to take on the following responsibilities;

• Dealing directly with customer request
• Being responsible for production follow up from  order receipt to  arrival of goods to customer warehouse  ,system  control based on customer demands
• Predicting potential risks in the product  in advance in production  and taking necessary action.
• To ensure that necessary tests are carried out and product complies with customer demands.
• To ensure the necessary documentation & procedures are followed for sustainability  demand.
• Working in coordination with relevant departments within the company, managing relevant processes in line with customer expectations and company strategies,
• May able to attend to international textile fairs
• Coordinating customer collection  work with the design teams in line with season trends
• Ensuring quotation studies, price comparison and evaluation to increase sales and profitability
• Reporting in accordance with sales and production targets
• To be able to work focused on quality –price –deadline
