GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Description:

Akım Metal is looking for a DevOps Engineer experienced in containerization, microservices, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, database management, version control systems and basic Linux usage. The person in this position will work closely with our application development team and help optimize our operational processes.

Job Description:            

- At least 1 year as a DevOps engineer,

- Scripting and automating system tasks to reduce manual repetitive work. (Shell scripting,

PowerShell scripting or Python)?

- Experienced in Docker and Nginx,

- Experienced in Gitlab and CI/CD,

- Strong knowledge in software build, integration, deployment, release, and code analysis tools; Jenkins, SonarQube, Selenium,

- Will be able to work with MongoDB and Postgresql databases,

- Monitoring systems knowledge: Grafana, Prometheus (nice to have)

- Communication, teamwork and time management skills,

- Continuously monitor the quality and performance of our applications and take necessary actions to resolve any issues,

- Following and learning best practices to help our team further develop in DevOps,

- Preferably knowledgeable in Python,

- Preferably knowledgeable about messaging services such as RabbitMQ and Kafka,

- We are looking for a teammate who has preferably worked in an Agile team.
