Transportation Manager

We are looking for a “Transportation Manager” with the qualifications to join our Operations Department; 

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Industrial Engineering),
• Minimum 5 years managerial experience in transport operations,
• Team management skills being able to cultivate strong business relationships on multiple levels,
• Good command of MS Office applications,
• Willingness to travel internationally within the requirements of the position,
• Fluency in spoken and written English,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

• Establish quality transportation services,
  
• Third party transport supplier tender and contract management,
  
• Plan and implement budgets,
  
• Operational metrics management &reporting,
  
• Providing compliance to GDP and Ministry of Health regulations,
  
• Manage performance of distribution center supervisors with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery,
  
• Lead all distribution, transportation planning and strategic activities, route optimization projects and transportation audits,
  
• Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities,
  
• Familiarity with all transport legislation and procedures to ensure company compliance.
