QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- Knowledge of network protocols at the CCNA level
- Experience with packet analyzers.
- Linux Administrator skills. CentOS or RedHat is a plus
- Experience with configuring, deploying and maintaining monitoring systems. Nagios or Prometheus is a plus
- Experience with building software from source
- Experience working with scripting languages such as Bash Script, Python
- Experience working with IT Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Experience with cloud deployments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, SRTP, RTCP. If not, you are willing / keen to learn
Bonus Points
- Working knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, SRTP, RTCP
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting open source sip servers such as Kamailio, OpenSER
- Working knowledge and experience managing open source VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSwitch
Responsibilities
- Support and Maintain the current VoIP infrastructure
- Design and build scalable and fault-tolerant components of VoIP communication platform.
- Work with other engineers and partners to resolve issues.
