Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to be assigned to a hydropower plant site installation project. The role involves supervising, coordinating, and supporting electrical installation works at site to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The position is site-based and requires close coordination with installation teams, subcontractors, and commissioning engineers during the construction and installation phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control electrical installation works at site (LV/MV systems, generators, transformers, auxiliary systems)
• Coordinate daily activities with site installation teams and subcontractors
• Ensure electrical works are executed according toapproved drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Monitor installation of cables, panels, grounding, protection and control systems
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
• Identify and resolve site-related electrical issues
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules, quality standards, and site procedures
• Participate in site inspections, punch lists, and acceptance processes
• Prepare site reports, progress follow-ups, and as-built documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering orElectrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience, preferably in power plants, hydropower plants, or large industrial site projects
• Strong experience in site installation and construction supervision
• Knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, generators, and auxiliary equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to work full-time at construction site
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hydropower plant projects
• Experience with EPC / OEM site projects
• Familiarity with IEC standards
• Valid driving license and flexibility for site conditions
