Head of Engineering & Design

•University Degree in Electrical or Electrical&Electronics Engineering,
•Excellent command of written and spoken English; Spanish and German is a plus,
•At least 10 years of experience in LV, MV and HV + TEİAŞ SWY
•Knowledge of international market conditions and related regulations in energy sector,
•Effective use of Microsoft Office Programs, SAP knowledge is a plus,
•Technically & action oriented, strong interpersonal & communication skills,
•Excellent planning and  organizational skills,
•Strong leadership and management skills,
•Strong negotiation skills,
•High customer oriented, effective team leader,
•Driving license (B), no obstacle for traveling abroad and to site,
•Completed military service for male applicants,

İŞ TANIMI

Responsibilities:

•Engineering related costs, schedule, quality and targets
•Detailed engineering and design of systems or system components

Main Tasks:

Control and contribution in all steps to;
•Preparation of the technical concept in collaboration with the specialists
•Input for the overall time schedule and work breakdown structure
•Optimization and update of the technical quantity structures and costs
•Specification of system components for subcontracting
•Preparation of the documents for installation and installation procedures
•Technical clarification of offers and for major components participation in negotiation with subcontractors and final decision for subcontractor together with SE and Purchasing.
•Decision on general scope of Control of Supplies
•Overall monitoring of system components with input from Purchasing
•Validation and approval of production schedule from suppliers
•Technical clarifications general to the product
•Calling of design kick-off and design review meetings (design steering)
•Technical inputs for claim management
•Measures to mitigate impacts from deviations
•Preparation of system documentation including Operation & Maintenance manuals
•Review of prompt reports and documentation on deviations (cost, schedule, quality) of System Engineers to Project Manager and Commercial Manager
 
Control and contribution in all steps to;
•Detailed design and workshop drawings (design to cost)
•Parts Lists and detailed specifications
•Performing or arranging for all design calculations
•Preparation of technical documentation including “as-built”-documentation
•Review progress information to the System Engineer
