The Role 

As Appsilon, we have cutting edge technology laser cutting machines, to cut our diamonds more efficiently. We are looking for team member who is capable and equipped to operate these machines.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to cut precious materials (e.g. diamond), 
• Train new operators and teach them how to operate the machine,  
• Regularly monitor and report data related to the machine,
• Conduct maintenance and repair activities to ensure the machine is functioning properly, 
• Write SOPs and maintenance manuals. 

What We Value 

• Must have at least a Bachelor's degree (preferably from Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or similar departments), 
• Experience about laser cutting systems,
• Able to perform cutting operations on the machine and keep records of data,
• Must have a good command of English, including having knowledge on technical literature,
• Experience in experimental working, heat treatment and surface finishing,
• Experience in writing SOPs, maintenance manuals, and other relevant documentation is a plus, 
• Must have teaching skills since they will be required to teach other team members how to operate the machine, 
• Good communication skills, 
• Strong organisation and time management skills with strong analytical thinking,
• Willingness to work hard & learn, willing to take responsibility,
