The “Project Management Specialist”, reporting to the Director of Business Development, will be responsible for developing and delivering guidance, providing implementation support, advice, facilitation and training to project teams in the company, to support the adequate design, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of projects, thereby contributing towards the successful transformation and change management processes/projects of the company.

 


Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of business development and/or project/change management (PMO) experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of project management tools and principles
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PSM, Prince2, CPM, etc.) will be a plus
  • Expertise in designing, following, guiding, and reporting company-wide projects and teams
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) skills; ability to develop executive level messaging, reports and presentations, with change/project management expertise to perform in non-hierarchical multifunctional teams
  • Advanced time management, planning, problem solving, and budgeting skills
  • Advanced level of MS Excel and MS Project
  • Fluent in verbal and written English

 

Main Responsibilities:


  • Analyze project needs, identify products and personnel required to complete projects
  • Working with the information technologies (IT) team in the preparation of the project plan, creating and following the project plans, ensuring coordination between business and IT teams
  • Create and manage project schedules and budgets, provide detailed progress, cost analysis and timetable reports to facilitate
  • Determine project priorities and assign resources when needed
  • Receive regular updates from all project teams, analyze updates to identify potential problems/obstacles, schedule meetings for updates
  • Manage communication of projects, create and present visual/written presentations/reports regarding the status of projects
  • Monitor performance and status of projects
  • Assign duties to staff to ensure everyone is working continuously and efficiently to keep up with the time plan.
