Project Controls (Cost) Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a Cost Manager for our Istanbul Office, who will be working in our Project Management Team.

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture with specialization in Project Management
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project estimating and cost control in the construction industry
• Experience in cost estimation at design stages is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office
• Good command of both written and spoken English is a must
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision
• Able to travel and willing to be based on-site from time to time
• No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provides planning and cost controlling support for projects
• Prepares cost estimates at each design stage
• Manages project budgets and reports the progress
• Controls interim and final payment requests of the contractors
• Monitors the progress at each design and construction stage and compares with the baseline
• Develops variance analysis as required to explain the differences between budgeted, actual and forecasted expenditures
• Prepares cash flows, charts & histograms
• Supports the value engineering activities of the design teams
• Technical and commercial review of the contractor tenders
• Provides supervision and direction to others who are involved in the project controls process
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate
