QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE SPECIALIST

We are looking for new colleagues to work within Operational Excellence and Efficiency Department, which is located the center of the operations,Gebze Warehouse. This role will work on end-to-end Supply Chain (SC) processes to define & re-define, measure, analyze, improve & optimize, and standardize by using Lean & Six Sigma philosophy in order to make the business flow, visible, traceable and measurable.

Focused priorities under Business Process Excellence (BPE) and Analyze & Reporting issues will be;

  • To observe warehouse and distribution processes on the floor.
  • To measure current cycle times of the processes and analyze the results.
  • To identify “as is” state on value stream of total SC processes and notify first improvement opportunities and quick wins.
  • To measure, analyze and reveal current overall processes efficiencies (OPE)
  • To improve processes in consideration of waste reduction, fraud & risk preventing, quality enhancing and ergonomic solutions.
  • To define “to be” state of value stream considering improved standards and business objectives.
  • Analyzing existing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, suggesting appropriate methodologies, and following the progress.
  • Contribute daily SIOE meetings.
  • Align Supply Chain processes with Avansas’ process approach
  • To monitor related KPI’s and complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery.
  • University degree in engineering (preferably industrial engineering), business administration or logistics.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in engineering (preferably industrial engineering), business administration or logistics.
  • New graduate or 0-2 years of experience.
  • Analytical and lean thinking, problem solving and continuous improvement, result oriented approach, creative and innovative ideas, positive and constructive attitude, high communication skills both on the floor and office environment, reasoning and moderative personality, realistic and able to understand cause and effects.
  • Good analysis, design, and communication skills.
  • Able to work on multi tasks.
  • Able to work in-place (Gebze Warehouse) and work on shopfloor.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Advanced level of MS Office experience especially on Excel, Power Point and Visio.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification/Training would be an asset.
  • Jira & Confluence experience would be an asset.
