We are looking for Purchasing Responsible to assign in our Tekstilkent office in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree,
• 1-3 years related experience is a plus,
• Good command of  English is a plus,
• Good oral and written communication skills,
• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software,
• Good negotiation skills,
• Good internal customer service skills,
• Good analytical skills,
• Good auditing, organizational and attention to detail skills,
• Good organizational and attention to detail skills,
• Having a valid driving licence,
• Military obligation must be completed,
• No obstacle for travelling,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• ***Industry-Specific experience is preferred,
• Having a good relationship with suppliers,
• Ensure the compliance with supply chain, quality, sales and GPD(product development)departments in all level,
• Research new or alternative suppliers when necessary,
• Input purchases orders.  Expedite orders by suppliers to meet production,
• Evaluate existing and potential suppliers in a coordinate manner with the Global Product Development and Purchasing team,
• Compile and maintain information and records in order to prepare purchase orders,
• Coordinate and track shipments.  Ensure on-time delivery of material and initiate action for return of rejected or unsuitable orders,
• Edit purchase requests and prepare purchase orders,
• Consult catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications,
• Maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries,
• Perform related clerical duties,
• Apply standard formulas to calculate extensions and discount applications,
• Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages or equivalent,
• Run and review match exception reports.  Resolve any discrepancies which include vendor/plant communication and system interface issues,
• Manage all raw material rejects and credits with suppliers,
• Manage billing discrepancies,
• Payment approval for inbound and outbound transportation invoices,
