We are looking for a Power Transformers Mechanical Design Engineer to join and enrich our growing engineering team.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the transformer industry
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor
• Passionate about design, dynamic, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong planning, decision-making, and initiative-taking abilities
• Willingness to work in Balıkesir

Job Description

• Review customer specifications, contracts, and related documents received from the Sales Department to determine the mechanical design requirements of the requested transformers
• Evaluate the feasibility of requested transformer designs within the factory’s production capabilities and defined product range; prepare or decline offers accordingly
• Design the mechanical components of power transformers in accordance with customer requirements, production capabilities, and applicable standards
• Prepare 2D technical drawings and 3D models of transformer mechanicalcomponents using Autodesk Inventor
• Perform mechanical design studies for transformer components such as tanks, covers, cooling systems, support structures, and related mechanical assemblies
• Prepare technical calculations, material lists, manufacturing drawings, and related design documentation
• Ensure the optimal balance of manufacturability, cost, quality, and mechanical performance throughout the design process
• Prepare order forms for relevant products and define and order the requiredmechanical materials and components in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• Provide technical support to production teams regarding mechanical drawings, design details, and manufacturing requirements.
• Review production and test feedback and implement necessary improvements in mechanical designs and calculation methods.
• Update existing design and production criteria by keeping up with innovations.
• Stay up to date with national and international standards related to transformer mechanical design to ensure compliance and best engineering practices.
