What will you be doing at Banvit MBRF?

• Support monthly and quarterly closing processes in line with IFRS and Capital Markets Board (CMB) requirements
• Assist in the preparation of CMB reports in Turkish and English
• Prepare and review trial balances in accordance with Group IFRS policies and statutory requirements
• Ensure accurate IFRS adjustments and compliance with Group reporting standards
• Review and approve manual journal entries in SAP
• Support the preparation of quarterly financial statements
• Manage general ledger (GL) accounts for both Group and statutory reporting
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
• Provide guidance to other departments on financial reporting topics, support corporate projects and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain relevant documentation
• Support fixed asset processes, including physical counts and asset transactions

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position and at least 3-4 years at one of the 4 Big Audit Companies,
• Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP and Hyperion (preferred)
• Professional certifications e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ICAEW (preferred)
• Based in Istanbul or willing to relocate
