Head of HR Operations

British American Tobacco Turkey is currently looking for an experienced HR professional for the Head of HR, Operations role, to be based in our factory in Samsun,Turkey. In this position, you will act as an HR leader, as part of the Operations Leadership Team and you will be responsible for driving the people agenda that is fully aligned to the overall business.

Principal accountabilities: 

• Manage core HR processes (talent management, reward, culture, organizational effectiveness, change management, budget and headcount management) with regular people cycle plan activities through the local and lobal systems and processes 
• Closely work with Area Operations and Regional Operations team to contribute the Regional HR agenda. 
• Manage Collective Labor Agreement process and Daily Union relations? Deliver and provide guidance to departments on all people decisions, to enhance team performance, motivation, productivity, culture and diversity by HR Analytics
• Responsible for building the culture of a winning organization and high-performance working teams 
• Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders 
• Actively communicate with employees to understand their needs and provide HR consultation on employee relations
• Lead OPS HR team and ensure a healthy talent pool is in place with a strong succession

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

• University Degree Min 10 years experience in a HR 
• Experience in a unionized organization with big and complex production facility is a plus 
• Fluent written and spoken English Strong knowledge of the Turkish Labor Law 
• Strong project management and prioritization skills 
• Solid rounded generalist with proven technical skills and experience in factory HR 
• Commercial orientation 
• Ability to think and act both strategically and operationally 
• Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development 
• Tenacity, resilience to continue to deliver in times of organizational change 
• Solid and mature to be in the position to interact and influence range of stakeholders
