Budgeting and Controlling Unit Manager

We are looking for a “Budgeting and Controlling Unit Manager” for Borusan EnBW Energy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial & business control, reporting, planning function
• Strong communication and analytical thinking skills
• Written and oral fluency in English is a must
• MS Office (advanced excel) knowledge; SAP & BPC knowledge is an asset 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Budgeting 

• Develops and monitors budget procedures and policies oversee time and deadlines and see the process through completion in coordination with all departments 
• Offers guidance in planning budget strategies for individual departments and making recommendations to solve special situations  
• Presents reports and provides interpretive budget analysis for senior management and appropriate for approval 
• Monitors budget versus actual figures and works with budget administrators to develop strategies to maximize budget efficiencies.  
• Provides supervisory and management oversight for the budget office staff  
• Preparation of regular forecasts according to requirements of shareholders (P&L, BS, CFS) 
• Preparation of rolling mid-term plan incl. Budget for upcoming year and reconciliation with relevant departments within JV and shareholders 

Reporting 

• Preparation of condensed monthly reporting to shareholders and JV management  
• Preparation of an internal performance to budget report, identify measures to manage deviation 
• Provides analytical support in the review of operations and programs, undertakes special studies  
• Implementation and development of company KPIs and continually monitoring of actual and planned figures 
• Ad hoc analysis according current questions 
• Close reconciliation with Accounting Department and other Departments of JV 
• Supports audit and compliance processes, in closing and all related processes (incl. Audit Report) 
• Infrastructural responsibility for implementing the reporting- and budgeting processes on SAP and other IT-Systems
