Trading and Market Model Specialist

Borusan Grubu

• University Degree, preferably graduate of Engineering and Economics Departments,
• Experienced in Electricity Energy Trading at least 2 years,
• Business Fluent in English,
• Good knowledge of Turkey’s energy market,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Basic experiences with statistical methods, regression methods,
• IT affinity and mathematical modelling (R, python) a plus,
• Accustomed with time series analysis,
• Strong self-motivation, ability to promote new ideas, share them with the team and develop them further together,
• Independent working manner,
• Ability to understand and improve cross-departmental processes in interdisciplinary teams,

İŞ TANIMI

• Conduct the market nominations (DAM, BPM, IDM) of Borusan Enbw Energy’ s generation portfolio,
• Use analytical tools to analyse the optimize portfolio positions, to calculate PFC and to support Sales Department,
• Responsible for updating the Database Management Tool of the trading department,
• Support operation, update and enhancement of electricity market model,
• Follow the market developments and analyse the impact on trade business,
• Participate in implementation of projects for new products and markets,
• Daily reconciliation of clearing reports, creation of monthly reports,
• Prepare reports for budgeting, hedging and revenue forecasting.
