The responsabilities of the Safety Manager will be:
- To identify potential risks, conduct periodic checks, and ensure preventive measures are taken. To identify and address fundamental occupational safety needs in the environment and within the plant.
- To ensure that Bunge Thrace Plant employees and subcontractor employees receive regular environmental and safety training.
- To implement and organize meetings for all occupational safety and health (OSH) related activities, including injury, accident, incident scene investigation, and preventive measures.
- To maintain and update OSH records regularly.
- To participate in and actively attend Bunge European OSH conferences.
- To ensure collaboration with all units and to monitor and revise OSH rules.
What you can bring to the role:
- ISO 45001 HSE management system experience
- 10 years of experience in HSE, 3-5 years in a management position
- University degree
- Food industry experience preferred
- Safety Certification - A class
- Experience in technical processes (Technical License)
- Project management experience (deadlines, budget, scope)
- Risk assessment experience
- Expertise in HSE management systems and risk action plans
- Advanced English language both written and spoken
