We are looking for a Contract Specialist for our head office, in İstanbul for the 1574 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC Project in Turkmenistan.

Qualifications;

• University degree in civil engineering

• At least 2 years experience in Contract and Claim Management is preferred

• Experience in preparation and execution of contracts for large scale EPC projects is preferred

• Experience in FIDIC type of contracts is preferred

• High level of Computer Literacy.

• Fluency in English language is a MUST.

• Strong drafting, negotiation and writing skills both in Turkish and English,

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once,

• Willing to make a career path in contract management

• Self-motivated and solution provider,

• No restriction to travel,

Responsibilities;

• Reviewing, negotiating and preparation of comments for contracts and any other contractual documents with Employers and other partners in coordination with other departments,

• Assumes documentation and reporting tasks in relation with contract studies

• Ensures that project teams are all aware of the essential provisions of the company's contracts

• Prepares, classifies, follows and publishes periodic follow-up tables for correspondences and other daily works

• Assisting to Deputy Contract Manager for administration of EPC Contract, preparation of contractual correspondences and claim files to Employers and Partners when necessary

• Provision of necessary studies and documentation especially during tender phase for successful contract and commercial management of projects,

• Advising what immediate contractual actions are required on the start of the contract

• Identifying potential claim events and preparing strategies for dealing with them. Management of the claims, including collection of all necessary evidence and records.

• Participation in risk assessment & management processes during tender phase and execution phase if required.
