We are looking for a Solar Project Chief - Electrical in Çalık Enerji Headquarters – Renewable Energy Investments Group located in Istanbul;

JOB DESCRIPTION;

- Overall responsible for all solar power plant projects and MV-HV technical matters in the electrical part of the project (especially engineering and procurement activities after Engineering and Procurement, supporting the site activities)

- Managing and facilitating electrical works as per the Project Management / Electrical Technical specification and design requirements.

- Control, Correction, Review of electrical engineering projects, calculations documents and activities ensuring that the Plant is technically compliant with the technical standards, grid interconnection agreement, Grid Code and other critical projects and site physical conditions

- Works on BOQ preparation, cost estimations.

- Clarify and agree interfaces towards the grid and the grid operator

- Management of electrical engineering and procurement works, subcontractors and equipment suppliers according to engineering and technical requirements

- Follow-up of subcontractors and suppliers on all technical, cost, logistics and schedule matters (including progress payment and contract management issues)

- Ensuring that the engineering procurement and construction program progress is reasonable and accurately considers the detailed Design Timeline, key equipment procurement and allowance for commissioning, testing and local Grid Connection requirements

- Supporting the site technical office team for projects electrical EPC part

- Coordination of Site and Head office Electrical teams

QUALIFICATIONS:;

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering

- Renewable Energy Projects knowledge (having engineering experience)

- HV Switchyard experience in AIS or GIS (Especially in EPC works)

- At least 6 years of experience in Industrial or Power plant projects electrical site works (both in site execution, procurement, subcontractor & supplier management)

- Knowledge of energy projects (Wind or Solar or other), especially HV/MV Equipment and Switchyards, HV-MV Over headline, E-BOP works, earthing, commissioning and SCADA Works.

- Have EKAT certification or able to get EKAT certification

- Speak and write English fluently.

- Advance user of IT, MS Office (Excel , Word PowerPoint, etc.), AutoCAD , or similar programs

- No obstacles to travel (national & international)

- Renewable Energy Projects knowledge (having engineering experience)

- HV Switchyard experience in AIS or GIS (Especially in EPC works)

- Assertiveness and organizational skills

- High energy level and motivation

- Pro-active and initiative-taking

- Good at building relationships and trust, good judgement skills and high integrity
