Field Operations Manager

We are looking for a team member with the following qualifications for our Çalık Elektrik ve Dağıtım A.Ş. company 

Çalık Holding operates in several sectors: energy, construction, textiles, mining, finance and digital sector. With operations spread throughout 31 countries, spanning Central Asia, the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, the Group employs nearly 16,000 people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination and collaboration with project team members (engineering, order processing, purchasing, etc.), sales & proposal groups in national & international projects.
• Resource management, contract management, budget, claim and change order management of the projects.
• Evaluation and application of interface requirements of various system components.
• Evaluation and management of project risks and opportunities.
• Preparation of regular project reporting, project status discussions and milestone reviews.
• Plan and implement the site preparation by handling both external and internal resources.
• Coordination and monitoring of site mounting, installation and commissioning.
• Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with customers/consultants to complete the project on time and with quality.
• Profit & Loss responsibility based on Order Income calculation.
• Follow up on the HSE Requirements that must be fulfilled at the site level and ensure that all ÇALIK HOLDİNG corporate and Legal HSE Requirements are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Excellent command of Turkish & English,
• French and Russian will be an asset as a second language,
• Min. 10 years experience in project management, engineering, site management, preferably in the MV system area, 
• Knowledge of power distribution products including protection, metering, control and annunciation,
• Knowledge of the Turkish energy sector, smart grid applications and renewable energy technologies is a plus,
• Smart Grid Project, SCADA/EMS Know-How is plus,
• Proven background and confirmed experience in Power Systems,
• Proficient understanding of electrical Distribution Networks,
• Know-how compliance, negotiation communication methods, claim management, risk management, business planning and health & safety regulations,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, primarily in Excel, Word and Project,
• Residence in Samsun,
• Driving license is required,
• No restriction to travel and live within Turkey and abroad.
