Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a “Senior Python Developer” to join our innovative and growing technology team at Cerebro. In this role you will work alongside our data science and software development team to design and implement elegant solutions to complex and interesting problems.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science or related areas

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Proven 4+ years of experience in software development

• 2+ years of Python development projects experience

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Experience with NOSQL technologies

• Solid understanding of data structures, coding standards, best practices, software design

• Experience with Linux

• Hands-on experience working on HDFS, Apache Spark, etc.

• Experience with Sci-kit learn, Keras and TensorFlow

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Proven experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Comfortable with the rapid, unpredictable nature of a tech startup

• Adapts to both working alone, or as part of a team

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills

• Good command of English

• No military obligations for male candidates.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and manage small and large web applications

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Integrate with, and construct, APIs to extract data from existing data sources both internal and external

• Ensure data stored in datastore is available in BigQuery for reporting purposes.

• This might involve developing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Work with outside data sources and API's.

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing solutions
