JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overall management of the project’s Engineering, Construction and Asset Management including liaising with the clients, contractors, sub-contractors; coordinating and leading partners; supervising members of the design team, project construction team and O&M team, overseeing project implementation and asset management operations, financial & administrative oversight, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of the projects and assets in accordance with local laws, regulations, and overall Chint Solar strategy for the Country and for the Region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Comprehensive understanding of energy legal process and energy law
• Experience with the planning systems and planning policy relating to renewable energy
• Some proven consulting and relationship management skills, with the demonstrated ability to develop effective strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
• Ability to connect and engage with all teams at all levels and treat everyone as equal
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• An entrepreneurial approach and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent project management skills
• Handling and coordinating inputs from external consultants and project team members
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Good MS Office applications knowledge
• Must be proficient in PVSyst and similar (Helios, PVSol) solar performance modeling softwares
• Fluent English
• Have self-motivation to focus and improve processes
• Have ‘finish the work’ attitude
• An ability to work under pressure to tight fixed deadlines maintaining attention to detail 
• Flexible to travel to the project sites

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Being responsible for the project governance. Defining project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance) and EHS.
• Running the project and SPP assets (including budget, program and team management)
• and deciding project strategy up to point of planning consent.
• Handling and undertaking community relations and communications
• Managing design – execution- operation progresses and its KPIs, and reporting to senior
• management with transparency during the business/critical project reviews.
• Producing an Environmental Statement; securing planning consent and managing
• consultants.
• Obtaining planning condition compliance and support planning compliance during
• construction and operation.
• Other duties as may reasonably requested from time to time by Regional Director and General Manager
