About the Role

• This role is fully remote.
  
• Dedicating 40 hours/week is expected

We love the following tech but we don’t expect everybody to be an expert in all of them from day one.

• Koa for RESTful APIs
  
• Creating progressive web apps
  
• GraphQL for bridging the PWA to services
  
• GitlabCI for automated builds and staging deployments
  
• Docker
  
• Google Cloud Platform for all of our cloud infrastructure
  
• Collaborate with the team, demonstrate the newest techniques and provide the best strategies
  

Responsibilities

• Developing the new UI using React, Redux, GraphQL
  
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  
• Translate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into high-quality code
  
• Optimizing components for maximum performance
  

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience preferred
  
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ES2016 - 2017
  
• Thorough understanding of React and its core principles preferred
  
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux) preferred
  
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like webpack
  
• Experience with RESTful and RPC based APIs is a plus
  
• You are keen to learn new technologies and have ideas about how we make things better
  
• You are an enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaborating across teams and departments
  
• Owning the product - ability to manage yourself without close supervision
  
• Strong passion for doing something good for the world
