Regional Technology Manager

Qualifications: 

• BS or MS in preferably chemical engineering field; MBA a plus, 
• 5+ years of managerial experience in technology transfer projects or product development in personal or home care industries 
• Fluency in English, 
• Good knowledge of Quality Management System and GMP principles 
• Understanding of technical, regulatory and business requirements 
• Strong organizational and leadership skills 
• Results driven, proactive, interactive, team work oriented 
• Strong communication skills expressing ideas and expectations in an effective manner with both internal and external partners 
• Capacity to operate in a diverse environment and to appreciate cultural differences in a Division covering Africa and Eurasia regions. 

Job Description: 

• Regional Technology Manager leads the implementation of the new product technologies in accordance to the strategic growth initiatives identified for the Division.
• Works with the plant’s technology transfer engineers to implement new or modified formulas and processes to the plants 
• Interfaces R&D, Category Innovation Center and Network Operations to ensure that the key technical milestones are built into the project time-table.
• Work in close collaboration with Plant Engineers and Operations to support the implementation of safe and robust making process.
• Ensures technology transfer process is followed and documented appropriately at every stage for all technical projects in the region. 
• Drives process improvement and efficiency leveraging on on-going monitoring of process capability. Implement corrective actions as appropriate. 
• Provide technical support to the Regional Quality Leader and Plant Quality regarding formulation issues and investigations.
• Drives plant and contract manufacturer compliance and assists implementation of Corporate & CM Quality Standards. 
• Participates in auditing process of new / existing raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers in the region, follow up closure of audit findings.
