Job Title SCM Staff (Purchasing)
Reports to SCM Manager
Purpose of the Job
Mainly;
- Ensuring that necessary materials are properly supplied on time,
- Maintain the Safety Stock Level for Sustainable Production,
- Establishing Purchasing Process of the Company.
Additionally; in order to Improve Supply Chain Management, Keeping Purchasing Record, Analyzing Purchasing Data, Searching for Alternative Supplier(s)
Responsibilities
- Creating purchase orders based on project requirements and sending to suppliers
- Following-up orders from suppliers and coordinating transport, customs, import process with minimum cost
- Ensuring customs clearance activities are carried out in accordance with foreign trade regulations
- Ensuring the materials on time, complete and in conformity with required conditions & specifications
- Monitoring the performance of suppliers, giving feedback to strategic sourcing team
- Supporting bonded warehouse and plant warehouse activities
- Filing operational documents in an orderly fashion
- - Constantly Controlling Stock Level of Consumables to Maintain Min Max Requirements for the Facility
- Negotiating with Suppliers about Price/Payment Terms/Delivery Terms for both Products/Services
- Searching for Alternative Products and/or Service Suppliers at All Time
- Data Recording to Analyze the Purchasing Trend(s) and the Cost of Goods
- Managing Good Relationships and Building Effective Supply Chain Partnerships Internally and Externally
- Reporting SCM Issues Directly to SCM Manager and Supporting SCM Manager on Purchasing Issues
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or Higher) in Engineering or Related Field
- Minimum 3 Year Experience in Purchasing
- Good Command of English
- Solid Knowledge and Understanding of Purchasing/Procurement Processes, Policy and Systems
- Knowledge about foreign trades and logistics operations
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills; Able to Negotiate, Establish and Process Contracts
- Strong business follow-up and control skills
- Proficient Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Preferably Experienced in ERP System (SAP)
- Able to Multitask, Prioritize and Manage Time Efficiently
- Accurate and Precise Attention to Detail
- Able to Make Decisions in a Fast-Paced Environment
