GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Cooling Research & Development Engineer to join the Cooling R&D Section at our production plant in Sakarya/Hendek.

Responsible for the design and development of HVAC cooling products, including room air conditioners and fan coil units. Led the design, development, and validation of complete unit assemblies from concept to production. Managed selection and integration of key refrigerant and hydraulic components such as compressors, valves, pumps, and fans. Developed and optimized piping systems and metal/plastic structural components to ensure performance, reliability, noise, vibration, and quality requirements. Collaborated with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers to drive product optimization in terms of cost, manufacturability, and project timelines throughout the full product lifecycle.

  Qualifications

•       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
•        Strong technical interest and willingness to lead and follow up on engineering projects.
•       Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills for technical requirements and customer inquiries.
•        Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
•        Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
•        Interest in environmental sustainability and topics,
•        Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
•        Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
•        Completed military service (required for male candidates).
•        Valid Class B driver's license.
•        Currently living in, or willing to relocate to, Sakarya or İzmit.

Job Description

•        Define the optimal mechanical specifications for products based on customer requirements, market demands, applicable regulations, quality standards, manufacturing constraints, cost targets, and project schedules.
•        Execute mechanical design activities to achieve target product performance and specifications.
•        Develop specifications for individual product components, including material selection, dimensions, geometry, and manufacturing processes.
•        Collaborate closely with project team members, cross-functional departments, and external suppliers throughout the product development process.
•        Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including: 2D engineering drawings ,3D CAD models and Development Bill of Materials (BOM)
•        Establish and validate evaluation and verification methods to ensure that component and product specifications meet design requirements. Provide technical justification and evidence supporting design decisions and validation approaches.
•        Identify and define the simulations required to evaluate product performance and specifications. Work with the simulation team to execute analyses and incorporate findings into the design process.
•        Communicate product development information effectively with relevant stakeholders, including Sales, Service, Logistics, Manufacturing, and other internal and external departments as appropriate.
•        Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with the project team's role assignments and the overall product development schedule.
