As Payroll Executive, you will play a role in HR Services organization together with your team members. In the context of your job, you will report to Head of Employee Services, Turkey.
Be responsible from the following requirements:
- Supervise and manage all payroll-related activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of payments.
- Lead, coach, and develop members of the Payroll team to enhance operational excellence and cultivate a skilled workforce.
- Play a crucial role in devising short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement and efficiency in payroll processing and system optimization.
- Assist in the development and execution of payroll strategies, planning, and communication efforts, while establishing and upholding departmental practices, and procedures.
- Oversee all Year End payroll processes, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and requirements in multiple countries.
- Identify, recommend, and advocate for improvements in the current payroll processes and systems.
- Foster positive relationships to facilitate successful collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors on system design, improvements, and integrations .
- Take responsibility for promptly resolving and effectively communicating any payroll discrepancies as needed
To be able to successful in the role, you need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study; professional Payroll certification is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of operational payroll experience in global organizations, with a strong preference for experience in the Turkish context.
- Proven experience in scaling payroll systems and procedures for rapidly growing global organizations, with a successful track record in project management.
- Hands-on experience in Human Resources System Management and project implementations including design, development, testing, and support (especially in SuccessFactors and SAP HCM),
- Exceptional attention to detail, professional acumen, and a sense of urgency when addressing employee inquiries, with the ability to promptly identify errors or exceptions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, reconciliation, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
- Outstanding communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adeptness in building relationships.
- Experienced people leader with a track record of developing high-performing remote teams
