Business/Financial Controller

We are looking for a Business Controller for a Swiss company which is active in commodity 'trading'.  The Company is located in Levent in Istanbul. The Business Controller will directly report to COO;

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university preferably in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, Management or Industrial Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Auditing or Financial Reporting,

• Preferably having international company experience

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•No restriction for travelling

• Having completed military service for male candidates
• Accounting experience and CPA designation is a plus
• Responsible for preparation of budget and periodical analysis of actual, forecast and previous monthly and yearly deviations,
• Responsible for forecast vs. actual budget analysis,
• Preparing monthly reporting summary for the management board,
• Coordination with 3rd parties in terms of external audits,
• Running scenario analysis,
• Preparation of monthly managament reports to shareholders
• Leadership of the projects (IT projects, new investments, major expenditures, capex, etc),
• Actively contribute to the accounting team's monthly closing effort.
• Lead and support internal/external audits, identify and control risk, drive incident investigation
• Conduct control activities, ensuring compliance and monitoring internal control effectiveness
• Ensure the harmonisation and consistency of the management rules applied in the various departments
• Participate in drawing up and implementing new management tools
• Preferably having knowledge for hedge accounting applications
• Reconciliation with suppliers
