Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and oversee the design, engineering, implementation, testing and site activities of multiple projects to meet stringent project completion deadlines

• Understand the needs of the customers and specifications of products at the initial phase of a project,

• Preparation of Functional Specifications, clarifications of project scope, review of design inputs and test processes

• Liaise with internal project leads and external project representatives to ensure the design aligns with project requirements

• Design engineering, delivery and support of mission critical operational activities 

• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on the project's status with respect to QHSE, scope, time, actual costs, risks, budget, and resources

• Execution of test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems under supervision.

• Pro-actively look to build cross discipline experience and increase knowledge through working with other engineers

• Involve and update related parties on the progress, and record project documentation

• Develop and generate new projects, understand business and development necessities of the company

• Contributes and prepares new project feasibility studies

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

• 3 -5 years of professional experience in a similar position, 

• Advanced knowledge of FMEA-CP-PFC integration.

• Knowledge of APQP-PPAP processes and experience on implementation onto the field.

• Minitab/Datalyzer FMEA usage would be an asset.

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge would be an asset.

• Excellent verbal, written skills in English

• Ability to work within an international, culturally diverse and matrix-based organization.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and result oriented.

• Resident in Anatolian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli.
