Finance and Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager who will be providing services at Dilovası/Kocaeli location.

Our client operates in more than 30 countries in the packaging industry and its headquarter is located in Europe.

Job requirements:

• Self-performer
• Written and verbal English and Turkish language fluency,
• University degree in a finance/accounting related field,
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Practical knowledge of Uniform Chart of Accounts and Turkish Tax Procedure Law,
• Must have strong intercultural and communications skills,
• Must be able to multi-task and maintain a calm, friendly demeanor under stressful situations,
• Professional commitment and work ethic.

Job description:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions through the well-reconciled general ledger, sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory) and bank reconciliations,
• To manage the daily operations in the finance, accounting, and tax department,
• To prepare and submission Financial Report (actual & forecast) for Company,
• To calculate staff payroll,
• To prepare SSI (SGK) declarations,
• To prepare monthly tax returns,
• Timely closing of the books of account on a monthly basis, with the highest level of accuracy and compliance with the applicable accounting pronouncements / corporate accounting policies,
• To prepare and submission Financial Report (actual & forecast) for Company,
• Assist in verification of all tax withholdings and payments, and corresponding reports to relevant authorities,
• Work with company CPA to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all accounting aspects according to local accounting standards,

Perform other duties as required or assigned.
