We are seeking for a high potential candidate to be evaluated as Assurance Senior in our Audit Department working for Assurance and Advisory projects with the following qualifications:

• An Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business and/or Accounting

• Completed (or close to completion) SMMM qualification or equivalent (CPA, ACCA, CA)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in external audit (ideally from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting services firm and Accounting Advisory experience is a big asset)

• Thorough knowledge of current auditing and accounting techniques.

• Experience of the entire audit process.

• Experience with a variety of industries is crucial – our clients come from diverse backgrounds

• Ability to identifying business and financial risks, plan and run engagements. Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements.

• Seeks to provide meaning for people in what they do, creating direction by helping others see how their individual day to day to work contributes to each engagement.

• Drives high performance from others by setting clear expectations and by providing robust, timely feedback

• Leadership skills and previous experience with developing the capability of individuals, and leading teams to deliver high quality client outcomes at more senior levels.

• Proficient in Turkish and English, both spoken and written. German is a big asset.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance and accounting advisory engagements.

Preparing financial and non-financial reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

Build strong internal relationships within Deloitte Assurance and across other services.

Coach, supervise and conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.

Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
