The role will involve:

• Take part in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and valuation projects, gaining exposure to high-profile transactions.
• Work closely with managers and partners, supporting their interaction with senior executives of clients and target companies.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify key trends, assess earnings quality, working capital requirements, and potential risks that may affect deal value.
• Prepare clear, tailored financial due diligence and valuation reports in PowerPoint, highlighting the most relevant issues for each client.
• Collaborate with other advisors across different disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to the development of client proposals and presentations.
• Participate actively in professional learning opportunities to advance technical and industry knowledge.
• Set personal goals aligned with project objectives and the firm’s expectations.
• Build meaningful professional relationships and develop a strong network within the firm and the market.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;
• A master’s degree (MBA or MSc) is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm (audit, transaction services, or valuation).
• Progress toward or completion of ACCA, CPA, or CFA qualifications is highly valued.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with proven business writing skills.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, written and oral.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel when required.
