Doğanay practices sustainable agriculture at its agricultural lands and uses the latest production techniques and quality standards at its own production facilities in Adana.

We are looking for R&D Manager to work in our R&D department located in Adana Plant.

Background & Skills

• University degree in Food Engineering (preferably with a M.Sc. or PhD)

• Fluency in English,

• MS Office and familiar with ERP programs,

• Experience in R&D departments of food companies

• Knowledge of Industrial Microbiology,

• Having product preparation skills within the scope of product development projects in the laboratory,

• Have the knowledge and skills to adapt new product concepts prepared as prototypes to production lines,

• Having knowledge of Turkish Food Codex and other relevant international food regulations,

• Ability to manage sensory evaluation processes with the right terminology and to apply sensory testing techniques in-house researches.

Job Description

• To carry out laboratory/pilot plant/production line trials covering new product and cost-improving studies,

• Demonstrating R&D leadership in Production/Line trials,

• Performing and reporting shelf-life studies,

• Developing alternative raw materials and food ingredients,

• Being responsible for the management [preparation, updating and classification] of product recipes, flow chart and specification documents,

• ERP Bill of Materials [BoM] management,

• Being aware of the changes regarding food regulations in a timely manner and informing the related departments about product and label updates within the company,

• To follow up the scientific articles in the relevant journal databases.
