Döktaş Dökümcülük is a leading company in Turkey specialized in manufacturing of pig, ductile and aluminium castings supplied to automotive, heavy commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery industry. Döktaş which has three plants and 2500 employees in Turkey was acquired by Güriş Holding in July 2018.

We are looking for “Project Engineer” with the following features to work together in our production facilities located in Orhangazi.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (preferably in industrial, mechanical and metallurgical engineering),
• Min. 2 years’ experience in project management,
• Advanced level English, both written and spoken,
• Knowledge in MS Project or SAP PS is a plus,
• Advanced MS Office knowledge,
• Being collaborative and customer oriented,
• Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders and project team members,
• Basic knowledge in new product introduction (NPI), request for quotation (RFQ), request for modification (RFM), product development (PD) and investment processes.
• For male candidates, military service must be completed,
• Residing or willing to reside in Orhangazi, Yalova, Gemlik, İznik, or Bursa.

Job Description

• Ensuring that projects are executed according to the planned budget, quality standards, and timeline.
• Following up and coordinating projects from Kick-off to SOP, organizing and coordinating project teams according to critical deadlines and milestones defined in the project schedule.
• Leading the project team as Project Manager and ensuring effective coordination and collaboration between different disciplines.
• Assigning tasks, clarifying responsibilities, and aligning project targets and priorities with team members.
• Working cross-functionally across departments to ensure effective project execution and communication.
• Managing customer relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the key contact point for project-related topics and ensuring customer expectations are properly addressed.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, delays, and deviations, and coordinating necessary corrective actions.
• Regularly reporting project status, progress, risks, and key performance indicators to top management.
