Import & Logistics Specialist

EGESAN is looking for "Import & Logistics Specialist" having the following qualifications to be employed in our Karaköy office / Çerkezköy Plant.

Responsible for:

• Preparing and sharing weekly tracking charts for imported materials with relevant parties.
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the shipment value, arrival date, and Incoterms report for imported materials.
• Organizing and monitoring all necessary domestic transportation processes to ensure the imported materials reach the factories. Insuring imported materials minimizes risks and ensures a secure transportation process.
• Initiating the domestic transportation process after coordinating with the customs firm, preparing necessary documents, and completing customs procedures.
• Verifying the goods information on the bill of lading prepared by the customs officer, obtaining the order for the shipment arriving at Ambarlı port, and completing the customs procedures and declaration closure for the products.
• Obtaining offers from logistics companies based on incoming orders to reduce logistics costs and organizing the most suitable logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proactive and able to work independently, but also as part of a team,
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international transportation and import/export documentation.
• Bachelor degree from Management, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Economics; Material, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar
• Residing or willing to live in a place where it is easy to reach the office in Karaköy or plant in Çerkezköy daily

Preferred Candidate:

• Years of Experience: More than 3 years of experience
• Level of Education: Bachelor’s (Graduate)
• Military Status: Completed, Exempt
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
