Your tasks-your area of responsibility:

• Together with our strategic buyers you will identify suitable suppliers worldwide.
• You independently control the supplier development process from the identification of a new supplier to the release of series production through targeted development projects.
• With your appropriate auditor qualifications, you can demonstrate potential for development in partnership.
• You develop strategies to achieve excellent delivery quality and implement them.
• You continuously monitor the delivery processes and product quality using your KPI reporting.
• You will recognize anomalies in the delivery quality or disruptions in the delivery processes at an early stage and work out remedial measures independently. In their implementation, you involve related departments.
• You create potential analyzes of the suppliers and present them. In bottleneck situations, you will take part in cross-functional task forces.

Your experience-your skills:

• Completed technician training or studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science or comparable training.
• Experience in the field of quality management in the automotive industry.
• Training and professional experience as an auditor (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3)
• Experience in conducting FMEA
• Expertise on APQP, PPAP, 8D, MSA
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Confident handling of MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
