We are looking for a new colleague as “Sustainability Strategist”  accordance with the following criteria for our company:

• Requires a minimum of a BA/BS degree in sustainability, environmental science,  Environmental/chemical engineering or related discipline plus 3 years of related experience. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus,

• Analytical thinker with the ability to make decisions,

• Self-motivated and assertive with strong organizational skills,

• Fluency in English. Excellent command of English (writing, speaking, reading),

• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills,

• Excellent coordination, organization, planning and communication skills,

• Result & Solution-oriented,

• No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description:

• Make a company-wide impact by organizing Ekol’s sustainability strategy and drive continuous improvement,

• Develop this function from the ground up, lead implementation and execution of Ekol’s sustainability efforts,

• Work with executive leaders to establish sustainability architecture, governance, goals & maturity model,

• Develop and implement sustainability policies, practices and associated standard operating procedures,

• Work with R&D department considering sustainability technologies,

• Have experience related with sustainability funds and incentives like EU Green Deal funds,

• Gather, analyze and monitor sustainability data, provide trend reports and present recommendations,

• Prepare presentations for customer meetings and internal sales teams,

• Serve as the primary resource to enable sustainability improvement projects with Ekol operations that have a direct impact on GHG reduction, energy efficiency,

• Work collaboratively with Ekol contacts on sustainability metrics and initiatives,

• Update Ekol’s website as it pertains to sustainability,

• Good knowledge on ISO 14001 Management Systems is preferred,

• Serve as an author of internal success stories related to best practices in sustainability,
