About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our growing international organization operating in the new energy sector for industrial applications.
This position will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our Turkish entity while working closely with local management and reporting directly to global finance team leader.
The ideal candidate should combine strong accounting knowledge with hands-on operational experience, particularly in financial reporting, budgeting, collections, internal controls, and Turkish commercial practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis for headquarters, following standardized templates and reporting deadlines defined by global finance management.
- Maintain monthly reporting processes including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, and management reporting packages
- Support annual budgeting and 5-year financial planning processes
- Monitor cash flow planning, payment schedules, and financial risk areas
- Support the local accounting team in daily operations in compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Coordinate accounts receivable processes proactively, including customer collections, overdue follow-up, reconciliations, and payment negotiations
- Monitor and analyze AR, inventory, and AP, and provide recommendations
- Evaluate operational costs and contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives
- Conduct financial analysis and provide reporting support for operational and strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support implementation of strong internal control systems
- Organize regular inventory counts and fixed asset verification processes
- Contribute to ERP system improvements and financial process optimization projects
- Maintain close communication with internal and external stakeholders both locally and globally
- Provide guidance to management on financial, operational, and regulatory matters
- Perform additional finance and reporting tasks when required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, finance operations, or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting practices, tax regulations, and commercial operations
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control systems
- Hands-on experience in accounts receivable management and collections within the Turkish market
- Strong operational finance and reporting mindset with the ability to manage day-to-day financial processes effectively
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
- Strong command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- ERP system experience is highly preferred; Infor ERP knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Proactive, responsible, open-minded, and capable of working in an international business environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Residing in Antalya or willing to relocate to Antalya
