To support our team in Izmir or Istanbul, we are looking to recruit a Global Category Manager.

• University degree in B.Sc / M.Sc Engineer.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of category management / strategic purchasing.
• Confident and experienced in working interdisciplinary and international companies.
• Assertiveness, managerial experience, good understanding of figures and the ability to analyze and prepare complex issues in depth.
• Experience in Wind – Blade Manufacturing is considered as an advantage.
• Min. 8+ years of professional experience and relevant experience in the field of wind turbines related with, procurement.
• Relevant experience in Global Category Procurement, Supply Chain.
• Experience in working with matrix organizations.

• Flexibility and analytical skills

• Leadership skills and Coaching skills but also ability to get things done in a self-driven way
• Organized and disciplined
• SAP knowledge is preferred
• Good command of the English language.
• International business experience in management in global companies and in intercultural environment.
• Military service completed for male candidates.  

Job Description :

• Responsibility for global supply chain with a full end to end perspective of the Category
  
• Responsible to use advanced negotiation concepts (e.g. e-Auction, biddings) 
  
• Responsible to develop and encourage talents within the category teams
  
• Responsible to implement in his /her responsible are the mandatory global processes, standards and regulations (DOA, SOA)
  
• Responsible for open communication with the team about changes. Ensures that the team understands and implements changes.
  
• Responsible to develop and implement optimal category strategies including strategies for regional content requirements
  
• Responsible to build supply market intelligence and ensure that a professional supply base is available to support business decisions
  
• Responsible for securing that the team fulfils below deliverables:
  
• Secures that all cost out opportunities are identified
  
• Secures that prices are correctly entered into the SAP System
  
• Drives an effective contracting processes in SAP ARIBA with suppliers to ensure legal compliance and coverage
  
• Drives e-Auction and Events
  
• Understand the KPI governance and secure that KPIs are achieved
  
• Consider relevant risk assessments in the supply chain
  
• Deploys multiple sourcing on all critical components
