QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture
Work Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of OBO/USACE project management experience
Language Knowledge
- Excellent communication and contractual writing skills in English, as demonstrated by a TOEFL score of at least 100 or an IELTS score of at least 7.0
Computer Literacy
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Primavera/Microsoft Project
- Adobe Acrobat
- AI Chatbots (CoPilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
Certification
- OSHA 30 Hours
- PMP Certification by PMI
- USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM)
Any required certification that you do not have shall be obtained in 6 months from the start of employment.
Job Description
- Implement and maintain the project management system based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework, ensuring effective project execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Complete the projects within the contract scope, quality specifications, customer expectations, and schedule, while minimizing lost time injuries and preventing incidents.
- Implement project management program objectives, strategies, and plans in align with project goals.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to construction management teams by establishing clear roles and responsibilities, facilitating communication and collaboration, and resolving conflicts.
- Finalize, implement, and update the project management plans and systems, covering all aspects of the project such as team organization, subcontracting, document control, procurement, material management, logistics, quality control, safety, and security.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.
- Track project progress, prepare progress reports, identify and resolve issues, recommend improvements, and ensure plan and specification compliance.
- Oversee on-site project management teams and manage their performance by setting goals, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition.
- Conduct risk analysis and mitigation planning for the projects, ensuring timely identification and management of potential threats and opportunities.
- Ensure that the construction management teams and the subcontractors comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
- Evaluate the project outcomes and lessons learned and share the best practices and recommendations for future improvement.
- Tracking the latest developments and innovations in construction technologies and implementing them as they become stable and feasible.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and potential risks to upper management.
