QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Er-Kim operates in Turkey since 1981; we are providing better health to patients in different therapeutic areas which are Oncology, Hematology and Immunology. Er-Kim Pharmaceuticals continues to be a company of firsts by making an intense effort to offer whatever treatment alternative is available in the world but not in our country, to the service of Turkish medicine.

We are currently looking for a strong profile with the right attitude to join us as “Market Access Manager”

 

Job Purpose

  • Leads the implementation of a sustainable product pricing  strategy at a local current in-line products  and  global level,
  • Getting optimum price, reimbursement and market access conditions for original products generics, new indications, new dosage forms, new pack sizes and line extensions) and lead all the related processes,
  • Close follow-up of application process within the reimbursement institution and other Ministerial Organizations,
  • Close follow up to receive the relevant field feedback on the new product or the new indication subject to  price and reimbursement and  ensures that the required actions are taken in case of any problem in market Access,

  • Provides analytical rationale for Business Cases -Maintain and update all relevant P&R tools and systems  and support to secure optimal reimbursement of our products,
  • Follow up the products in the reimbursement lists and pricing list  (in term of their and the equivalent generic prices  and/or orıjınal prices in local, EU and other  reference countries) and to inform related departments,
  • Leads the local input to both global and local Pricing -Adapt Global Healthcare Economics models to accurately reflect local environments,
  • Performing the pricing processes to ensure appropriate pricing as required for all marketed and …new products in Turkey according to Health Ministry Criterias/rules and company policies.

Job Description

  • Develop a strong collaboration with the sales and marketing team in defining and driving the vision and strategy through corporate relations,
  • To enhance company’s leadership in industry related engagement with government ministries,
  • In collaboration with Brand/Business teams across the affiliate, establish KPIs aligned with the Brand / Business strategies and key priorities. Prioritise these in consultation with General Manager. Implement prioritised action plans and track to KPIs, with strong communication to the business areas,
  • Guided by the Brand / Business team objectives and priorities, define and implement the corporate relations strategy.
  • Ensure General Manager is up to date on market trends and issues related to the Public Sector, including strategic assessment and business impact,
  • Drive a culture of partnership within the affiliate by establishing strong internal networks within,
  • Act in concert with pricing and reimbursement and clinical development requirements,
  • Design, develop and implement market access strategies,
  • Work cooperatively with sales & marketing department in using & putting market access data in practice,
  • Conduct description of future economic status of drug at an early development level for promoting research prioritization and development decisions,
  • To secure reimbursement for products through timely preparation of submissions, effective understanding of local processes and networking with key stakeholders,
  • Share relevant information to inform and shape opinion regarding the value of company products within the local health economy,
  • Monitor and examine market environment in order to collect up-to-date information on pricing and competitors,
  • Drive a culture of partnership within the affiliate by establishing strong internal networks within.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree/ Bachelor’s degree in the related fields ( health economics, pharmacy, biology),
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the health sector as Market Access Professional
  • Ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders,
  • Outstanding process and project management skills,
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
