About the Role

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who takes ownership of product quality, actively performs manual testing activities, and contributes to the continuous improvement of our testing practices through automation and AI-powered quality engineering approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields,
• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance,
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and quality assurance processes,
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile and API-based applications,
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases and regression test suites,
• Knowledge of backend testing tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar platforms,
• Experience using Jira and test management tools,
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques,
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams,
• Excellent communication, collaboration abilities and strong problem-solving skills,
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits,
• For male candidates completion of military service or minimum 2 years of postponed,
• Living in Istanbul due to hybrid working. Preferably on the Anatolian side.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium,
• Interest in AI-powered test generation, autonomous testing and modern QA approaches,
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for test design, defect analysis and test automation,

Responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance process for the products under your responsibility,
• Design, create, maintain and execute manual test cases and test scenarios,
• Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and exploratory testing activities,
• Conduct end-to-end testing for web, mobile and backend applications,
• Validate newly developed features and ensure release readiness,
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts to ensure quality requirements are met,
• Support automation initiatives and collaborate with the Test Automation team,
• Continuously improve test coverage, testing efficiency and quality standards,
• Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance testing effectiveness and productivity,
• Research and evaluate emerging testing technologies, including autonomous testing and AI-assisted quality engineering solutions,
• Share product knowledge, quality insights and improvement recommendations with the team.
