QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Plan and execute sales activities to achieve targets within Turkey.
Manage and develop customer relationships that are consistent with growth strategies.
TASKS
- Prepare, implement and execute sales strategy and achieve volume and revenue targets. Visit customers frequently and enter visit reports in a timely manner into the CRM system. Prepare frequent sales forecasts and enter relevant data as required. Monitor sales volume, revenues and variances against forecasts to identify problem areas.
- Contribute new ideas, vision and information useful for the definition of the sales strategy that will differentiate the company with new and existing customers.
- Pro-actively identify customer needs and sales opportunities with new and existing customers and prepare and follow up on customer proposals and enter into pricing negotiations. Evaluate and provide updated pricing information to customers. Ensure profit levels are maintained according to company guidelines & pricing matrices.
- Generate, evaluate and report market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage; Provide high quality and complete data input to ensure a proper market and account management.
- Build and develop positive relationships with customers and distributors in selected regions as required and appropriate. Negotiate business terms and conditions strictly adhering to company and pricing guidelines and level of authorisation. Provide ongoing support and guidance to the customers and distributors as required and handle complaints.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Line Manager(s), accurately capturing the market environment, sales and competitor activities.
- Organize and implement events, conferences, fair participations and other PR actions for the Business Line Coating Additives and fully comply with all Evonik Group guidelines.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Several years of experience in Sales
- Very good knowledge in the Coatings and Inks market, ideally with additives
- Very fluent English and Turkish knowledge, spoken and written
- Good IT knowledge and skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)
- Good presentation skills, strong communication & problem solving skills
- Clear service mindset to ensure customer satisfaction
- Readiness to travel frequently
- Valid driver license
